At Solomon Schechter, we are committed to development of the whole child. We encourage our students to explore and achieve expertise in a wide variety of enrichment activities both during the school day and after school. Extracurricular activities reflect student interests. Popular clubs include Kids Comedy Club, Kids in the Kitchen, Intramural Sports, Science, Cheerleading, Hip-Hop Dance, Fitness Fun and Art.

Intramural Programs

To expand our students’ contacts with other Jewish students, we participate in several inter-Schechter programs each year. These include athletic events, parties, academic competitions, cultural events and trips. In addition, our Middle School students participate in after school basketball and cheerleading programs that compete against other private schools.
